Special offers
For divers wishing to take advantage of the 20% discount, the following rules apply:
- There is no claim for reimbursement, even in case of illness. Only exception to this rule is, when the dive center cancels a dive day and you are therefore unable, to finish your dive package or course
- A booking is personalized and therefore not transferable. In the event that you cannot finish your diving package or course, the diving school can credit your credit until the next season
- For your own safety: no more diving 24 hours before flying
- The 20% discount cannot be combined with other offers
Since 2004, Son Bou Scuba has offered repeaters a 10% discount on all dives and PADI courses
This discount does not apply (except when included in the course) to:
- Equipment rental
- Brevet fees
- Insurance
- Study materials
- Fuel surcharge, supplements for excursions and night dives (if applicable)
- Non-PADI courses
This discount is valid from May 1 to October 31.
20% Discount on dive packages and PADI courses in May and October
Exceptions for this discount are the same as for the 10% discount. This offer is valid per person and cannot be shared. Furthermore, this discount does not apply to single dives but only to dive packages (minimum 6 dives). Reservation by email; the amount to be paid must be credited to our bank account 4 weeks in advance.
20% Discount on dive packages and PADI courses during the season
Exceptions for this discount are the same as for the 10% discount. This offer is valid per person and cannot be shared. Furthermore, this discount does not apply to single dives but only to dive packages (minimum 6 dives). Reservation by email; the amount to be paid must be credited to our bank account by February 1.
Discount for diving groups
Dive groups and associations receive a special discount on dive packages in May, June, September and October:
- For a group up to 9 divers: 30% discount per diver, 1 diver gets 50% discount
- For a group of 10 divers: 30% discount per diver, 2 divers get 50% discount
- The surcharge for night dives is waived if a minimum of 5 divers from the group participate
Again, a few ground rules:
- Maximum of 10 divers per dive group and one group per period. Dive packages should be uniform (e.g. all divers 6 or 10 dives)
- Payment should be credited to our bank account no later than 8 weeks in advance
- There is no claim for reimbursement. In case of illness of a participant, other divers of the group can take over these dives
- Per group we organize a maximum of 2 night dives
- Supplements for excursions & fuel surcharges-if applicable-are not included
- Deco dives are allowed by appointment with and under the supervision of a dive guide (depending on experience and certification)
- For your own safety: no more diving 24 hours before flying
- This discount cannot be combined with other offers

20% discount for veterans
The Unknown Heroes Foundation is an organization created from the business community as a practical expression of appreciation for our veterans who have dedicated themselves to global peace, security and national freedom. A veteran is a (former) soldier who served under war conditions and/or was deployed abroad for one or more peacekeeping operations. That soldier may have served with any branch of the armed forces and been deployed either in detachments or individually. Veterans deserve this appreciation in the form of discounts with veterans’ cards or support in finding jobs.
At Son Bou Scuba, veterans receive a 20% discount on dives and PADI courses upon presentation of their veteran card (not in conjunction with other offers).
